Started the mid-week rides up again. Met Jake, Bill,Jared, and Skid up at Lambert for a little pre-riding of the USCS race course for this weekend.

Didn’t get in a lot of riding.  We lost Skid and when I stopped to adjust my rear shock after the first lap, it started raining.  Then it REALLY started raining.  Bill and Jake were in race mode and got two laps in.

I settled for a trip to Barbacoa and a belly full of rice and beans.

You really should register for the race this weekend.  The 3.4 mile course is a good mix of all the elements of Lambert.  The race format is similar to cyclocross.  This is the first in a new series of races being put on by Bob Saffell and friends.  They’ve got purse money for winners in each category and big money in the top categories.  Check it out.
