Close Enough
Awhile back I made a bet with myself and anyone who would listen, that I would be at 180 lbs by Frozen Hog. The wager: If not I would race the first lap in a Triathlon Speedo.
At first I was off to a good start, and promptly got down into the low 180’s(182 to be exact) Then Christmas, and laziness set in and I was back up to 188.
I made somewhat of an effort, swimming laps, sitting on the trainer. Laying off the Taco Bell. Eat more fruit (Blood Oranges, are bitchin). And was eventually back down to 182.
Now depending on the status of my bowels, I am still at the 182 mark, and have actually touched the 180 mark. Now to me, this is good enough. The other issue is the fact that I am in charge of this damn race and stand a good chance of being a little busy during the first lap of the race.
However, if there is an overwhelming demand to see me nearly naked. I will oblige. With one caveat. It will be with the 12 and unders race after the main race. Though this may scar them for life. I am willing to jiggle through the three laps around the upper meadow that the kids will be racing in full view of all spectators and racers. Again, this is only if there is an overwhelming demand. So if you sick pigs want to see a fat man in tiny shorts cavorting with underage children in the snow, it’s on your heads.

I ain't skeered
Unless you already own a speedo that you are dying to show off….

Actually, they’re short-shorts.

Hey Josh,
I thought you did a great job with the frozen hog. Peddler helped tons with the much better freebies than last year (by far). You em-ceeing was top notch. I’m sure it was a ton of work for you and those close to you, so thanks again! Now if we could control the temperature and snowpack better to make things more rideable, but nothing to do with you!
Glad not to see you in the tri-suit! You riding to Vernon and back this next weekend or two?

Everybody keeps asking me if riding out there. Frankly, I’m afraid. Thanks for the kind words though. We worked pretty hard, but had a lot of fun.
